  1. I’ve put these prong collars on 3 dogs now, and immediately there has been a difference. Thank you so much for the recommendation forever ago. It is actually very enjoyable to walk our dogs now.

  2. Prong collars are very helpful. Prong collars also have a learning curve and require an adjustment when using them. A prong collar is not meant to be used the same way you would use a choker or traditional neck collar and in fact, they even allow you to be far more slack and relaxed with a leash. With my experience using prong collars, I can’t help but feel like you’re actually more in-tune with your dog.

  3. Got one for my doggo from Katie’s buckles with both the prong collar and buckle and has done a complete 360 with her and I am confident now in taking her anywhere without any issues. Along with some training that i have seen from you’re channel, it is amazing how much helpful it is and she is now going to most places with me. I’m so glad πŸ€— thank you for you’re channel!

  4. Love the prong collar and I love describing to someone with no clue that it’s job is to simulate a mother grabbing them rather than the prongs poking into the dogs neck. The reaction is always the same.

  5. Thank you so much for your help! I just received mine and used it on my 7month old súper people/kid friendly cocker spaniel and it worked like a charm. He was actually focusing on me, looking at me, walking by my side. I will continue to follow your advice! Thank youuuuu ❀

  6. Please post second half of this short or
full video. I am grateful for your videos, please keep them coming!

  7. I put a this exact collar on my 4 month corso, she absolutely did not care to choke herself out on a flat collar or a slip. It took just a few minutes to figure it out and it was smooth sailing after that. About a week ago(at 5 months) I took her for a walk and just hooked her up on her flat collar and she walked beautifully. I still use it if we go out because she still gets waaay too excited, but on out normal daily walk we don’t need it anymore.

    1. That’s awesome, I hope my German shepherd and I can work just like you and your dog when the prong collar arrives

  8. PetValu in Canada carries many Herm Sprenger prong collars; they typically have various sizes (s/m/l/etc) as well as lengths (2mm/3mm/etc) for a good price

  9. I’ve watched so many videos about prong collar training. You helped me so much. I just bought it and use it properly which you taught me changed me and my dogs life in a min! πŸ˜³πŸ™ŒπŸ» We will keep practicing! THANKS A LIT❀️🐾

  10. I used a prong collar on my dog and now we can walk basically unleash ( he hold it in his mouth and place in my hand . No chasing of anything only 1 yrs old .Pit bull / Corso male big boy

  11. Oh, I love this. Thank you is that your dad in the background? He looks so much like you.

  12. Just looked it up and apparently they’re banned in the U.K., the RSPCA said : The repeated pressure of collars like choke and prong collars can cause severe inflammation of the skin and muscle, and in extreme cases can cause cervical spine injuries.

  13. Before I knew any better, I thought prong collars were very cruel and they can be refused correctly just like any piece of equipment. But a professional trainer showed me how to use one and now they are part of the tools in my toolbox. I’m not using one with the dog I have now. Maybe I never will. But if the need arises, at least I know how.

  14. i started to transition from a standard martingale to a Herm Sprenger 1.5mm micro using a Katies Buckle
