So how do we fix this? What do we do? Your shorts never finish what your teaching, there’s never enough information. Tell us how to fix this, not just what we’re doing wrong and what our dog thinks we’re doing, tell us how to fix this…
I think he’s saying that these actions are sorta sensory overload for your dog, and it would be better to focus on where you’re going in a more confident leader-like fashion
@@NasDav It’s a good way for me to avoid his videos. There’s no useful information here so what makes me think his full videos won’t be a waste of time.
ββ@@TALKINGtac0 he’s not exaggerating it’s so normal to see that we don’t tend to recognize the issue. most people don’t do it to that degree but some definately do. π. it’s so not good but so important to watch out for!
Yeah idk man a dog is a dog, as long as you treat it right. i don’t think you gotta start putting in some different kind of psychology into it just so he understands you more. All i do is say “Walk?” and he already waiting for dat leash
My husband just passed away with a heart attack we have a Belgian Shepard.. he is gone I am 72 she is so protective I got 2 kennel her when anybody comes Over.. my husband had her train she is obedient but she is very aggressive to everybody except I see in the family I donβt want to have to rehome her I donβt even think I can she will bite and I seen her we have a electric fence so she canβt get out of the yard but I need help
π. he actually has a video with another woman in the exact same situation your in. big dog,. daddy trained,. daddy passes, lady can’t control. Protective dog. I cannot remember what it was called but I highly recommend you watch multiple videos of his. I’m sure there will be somthing in them that will help you. top thing to figure out first is if your dog is motivated by food or not. If not the ASPCA says it’s not likely to be fixed but Tom does it on a regular basis. Totally possible. ASPCA is proven wrong on a regular basis by Tom and other trainers.
I hope you find what you need to help you both learn to live love and respect eachother. It’s not easy and maybe get some supportive family members to learn with you and help observe eachother to maybe spot issues you can’t see yourself
or video yourself and try to find corrections that could help
BIG. thing to keep in mind. you need to know your dog,. each dog is different and past experiences will have an impact on what’s necessary. Learn from his many videos on the basics but you will likely need more specific an neuanced training since they have an electric fence and might need different techniques.

Very odd editing cuts as well
I think itβs so you watch his actual videos and not just the short cutsπ«€

I’ve literally never seen anyone walk a dog like that
Edit: it turns out there are actually people who walk their dogs like this
Really? I see it all the time with people who are expecting their dog to behave in a way they, the owner, donβt want.
I see it every single day. I have about 500 videos of dog owners doing it.
@@tomdavisofficial Holy moly you do. My apologies, its just i’ve really never seen it lol

You do if your dog doesnβt listen to you and your relationship is unhealthy
@@tomdavisofficial Well usually the owner is the one making the relationship unhealthy not the dog.
@@DivineFacade correct which is what this entire video is. π
well…. if it were that easy there would be no audience for this contentπ€ͺ

Our trainer expects us to hold the leash this way. I have never preferred to do that as it seems to confuse her.
It is
sounds like you need a better trainer. if you picked up on it causing confusion and the trainer isn’t listening to you. those are 2 red flags for me.
Yes and training is all about body language keep up the good work #nobaddogs
Thanks!
