  1. Your first video that you put out I distinctly remember saying you have to be in touch with yourself so you can adequately train your dog and time and time again you show it great job brother

  2. The 3 things I taught my dog is,
Potty training, Socializing and the most important 2 words ever, Leave It!
I do have a Kennel for her and she goes in there on her own. That was the 4th thing I taught her.
She now knows over 30 commands and even some hand signals.

    1. Mines know more I had my dog potty trained a three months she four almost five yrs she does wat I say wen I say even knows what a certain look means without me saying a word

  3. I accidentally made my husky immune to loud noises bc I got him just a few weeks before Christmas & my family has LOUD gatherings leading up to Christmas & New Years Eve. So, I was shocked when the 4th of July came around & he did not care one bit about fireworks lmao he actually even likes watching them. So, 10/10 would recommend loud family members w party poppers to socialize your dogs πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ

    1. Bring dog to loud Mexican family reunions
Got it (I cannot keep track of the amount of relatives I have but at least that’ll help her with fireworks)

    2. Lmao… a weird tip but I guess it works πŸ˜‚
When my best friend’s dog was just a puppy we blasted this one song at 100% volume…the poor little girl… she was freaking out and tried to hide on the couch… she had the look on her face like “what are these people doing??” She’s now almost 7 and she’s used to it. Her family is crazy, and so is she.

    3. @@emmamarkel8410 There’s a Big difference between Music Noise and having a lot of ppl in one room making noise as they talk .. Dogs’s ears are actualy pretty sensitive… so playing Loud Music really isn’t good for them

    4. @@stephaniedaigle4794 No it isn’t. It was pretty funny though, but the poor thing. (Don’t worry, they don’t usually play music THAT loud)

    5. funny I got my husky in the summer and I’m a loner. the summer him having the thick fur in Texas I kept him behind A.C. When I tell you the schizophrenia and garbage truck is spot on. oh and people. nope! You can’t even bang a wrench underneath your car without him literally thinking someone is trying to kill him. it is not only embarrassing but extremely frustrating. and research says it will never go away. sooo I have a husky if anyone’s looking

  4. I totally blew it with my dog. I was ready to put the time in and then some personal stuff got in the way. I had originally acquired the dog for my wife, but she couldn’t handle it. Next thing you know I’m faced with a dog that is freaking out from the need for attention, the need to be trained and all that goes with it.
As I mentioned, I watched the videos as often, as I could, and picked up the pieces little by little, and he’s finally mostly on track.

    1. Same here. I waited until my puppy was 7 months old to socialize and train. Now she’s almost a headache but working progress.

    2. @@NativePride4051don’t give up we’re all in this together I also adopted a 3months old Dalmatian puppy and he’s a lot of work😊

    3. @@anunknownperson4018 Treats aren’t magic fairy dust that makes your dog learn stuff.
      Learn actual training techniques.

    4. @@anunknownperson4018Treats don’t work on all dogs. They worked perfectly for my dog cuz I have a lab (and it STILL works perfectly, she’s 7) but if your dog prefers action over food maybe use a toy as a reward instead, or maybe just positive inforcement if they they care more for your praise

    5. @@anunknownperson4018 they need to understand the command and have a reason to obey. You tell a baby to roll over who is able roll over… It won’t roll over until you associate the word with the action.

Also, he regularly states, “the best time to train is feeding time.”

  5. My wife and I potty trained our puppy by hanging a little bell by the back door. When ever we went out into the backyard, we would ring the bell first. Within a few days, she was telling us she wanted to go outside all on her own. Granted, this ended up working for both potty trips and play time.

    1. Lmao a client said him and his wife taught their puppy this but specifically for bathroom breaks. The dog soon learned it worked whenever it wanted to go outside, to chase squirrels, run around, whatever. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ thought it was so funny

  6. I had a lot of issues with my husky mix early on. After eight or nine months I got a crate for when I was gone. It resolved every single issue. She loves it. She naps in it and sleeps in it at night, door literally tied open. I guess she wanted her own space. She hasn’t even fussed when in it with the door shut while I’m gone.

  7. Him: “Crate training!”
My cousin’s Alaskan malamute sitting outside in 4 feet of snow: “What crate? You mean coming INDOORS?! Yeah, good luck with that, I just dug myself a snowpit, bye β˜ƒοΈ”

  8. Grooming is also very important!! As a groomer, we see older dogs who were never grooming trained and they freak the hell out even if they’ve been there before.

    1. Depends on groomer and sex. My female is good with everyone male is picky women are his favorite men he will be stubborn as hell even me yet a women he loves understandable as man myself

    2. That is the part where he mentioned socializing the dog aka desensitizing him to various environments. Socializing a dog doesn’t mean getting a lot of strangers to pet the dog, it means making him comfortable in as many environments as possible.

  9. We literally had a roommate that after he was told not to get a dog went and got a husky puppy and didn’t do any of these 3 things that you’re recommending and the 2 and a 1/2 months that he was living in me and my boyfriend’s apartment was absolute hell I 100% support this video

  10. My male french bulldog was so easy, so fast to potty train. My female took 6months. She’s a very good girl… stay consistent, set your timer every 20 minutes, and they get there!!

    1. Little ones are tough. Almost all my dogs were reliable at 12 weeks. My 2 chi mixes ( different mixes, different moms) took 6 mos. Still very few accidents because of crate training.

  11. We just rescued a Border Terrier pup and hes one years old. I can confirm that I researched what to do with him and I watched a lot of your videos and he has turned out to be an amazing g dog. I started with everything you said in this video and I quickly progressed with him. 2 months later and I’m training him to me an Anxiety and Cardiac Alert Service dog. Thank you for your wisdom, inspiration, and great tips!

  12. We had two English Pointers who were litter mates, male and female. They were easily crate trained and potty trained.
Fast forward 10 years, we still had “Bandit”the male dog. We got a puppy, a female who followed Bandit around and learned everything from him. Even potty training!
Training is everything ! A well-behaved, socialized dog is a joy to be around.

  13. We have a Newfoundland seizure service dog that is very well trained. When she’s working, she’s all business. She has one quirk! When you start to take her down the frozen food isle at our local target store, she STOPS! She refuses to go down that isle. Something to do with the noise frequency of the freezers. Rather than stress her out, we just walk around it. Trainer we have has been a big help trying to sort that out. Amazing dog!

    1. What kind of training have you been doing to overcome this? Was curious if part of the issue is either reflection πŸͺž or if it’s due to the automatic lights

  14. THANK YOU for mentioning crate training! My 3 year old GSD loves his crate because I started him immediately at 7 weeks old. I’ve gotten comments that he spends too much time in his crate but he gets PLENTY of exercise during the day and he’s happy in his crate (lies down and sleeps, no whining or barking)

  15. Our dog had 2 of those 3 things when we got him as a puppy, he only needed socializing and he knew exactly what communication was

  16. I’m zo thankful my rescue puppy just slept through the night from the first night i got him to now, and almost immediately clicked with potty training
