I adopted my dog from a shelter. She also had no name. She was tortured and maimed as a puppy. She lost her left leg as a result but she’s just as energetic and loving as any other dog. A lot of people I know always want newborn pups and I always tell them that they should check out a shelter first. My sweetheart by the name of Nala was the outcast- she had been overlooked and ignored by everyone. These precious creatures are just poor innocent souls who’ve been dealt a sh*t hand. Thanks for helping this poor thing. I’m glad that they’re getting adopted, wishing Winky a long and fulfilling life filled with lots of treats and kisses.

Absolutely! All dogs do. And I think it’s disgusting how anyone could claim his kindness towards this sweet dog is cruel just bc he isn’t adopting him. What- so he should be ignored and treated as though he doesn’t exist until someone decides to adopt him? How idiotic. Honestly I wonder sometimes what’s wrong with these people

yep, one of the nicest dogs i’ve met was very mistreated and from a native reserve. He would look out for anyone who treated him well. He would look after kids and keep them from trouble. Always gentle and never pushy.

The way he shrank back in fear breaks my heart. Dogs are so trusting, you know he had to be horribly mistreated for him to be so fearful.
I dont know how a default dog with zero contact reacts to humans. How does the average lone wolf act in his first encounter with a human? I dont know but its probably the closest we can get to the answer.
@@DJ-ov2itdepends on age really. A baby dog would be more curious than anything and probably after a few hours be trusting. A grown dog that has never interacted w humans would be far less trusting and probably avoid them

@@DJ-ov2ita dog with zero contact has a limited aggression – they have a default to retreat similiar to this, but will recognise they are trapped and become aggressive to set a boundry.
For a dog to react to this they have been beaten, and learned that acting in self defense increases the severity of said beatings – my money would be on he was owned by a severe drunk who turned on him as stress relief when people around them turned them away

I found my current dog walking the streets with broken off teeth and duct tape around her snout. Someone didn’t want her to see another tomorrow, I’ve given her 7 years and counting. God bless what you’re doing man.

Aren’t special needs pets the best? Everybody will walk by but people like us always see the potential. I’ve had pets with one eye blind pets lame pets you would not believe. But they all had as much love to give as a purebred pet of the highest quality costing thousands

We adopted a dog whose previous owner broke his jaw and took out his right eye with a hammer. He is the sweetest most loving dog and we are the lucky ones to have him.

We need to teach kids that animals are sacred just like they did thousands of yrs ago living as pagans. Then everybody would look down on those that are cruel and all this can stop.
